I am a professor in actuarial science and insurance analytics at KU Leuven. I am also a (part-time) professor in actuarial data science with the University of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.

November 16-17 2026: I will deliver an invited talk during the ASTIN session of assembly of the German actuarial association in Mannheim. Host: Julia Eisenberg.

October 28-30 2026: I will visit the University of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg Institute of Actuaries. Hosts: Heloise Labit and Christophe Ley.

October 6, 2026: (in Dutch) ik zal de keynote geven tijdens de Datamiddag van het Verbond van Verzekeraars in Den Haag.

August 1, 2025: I started as vice-dean for education and students at FEB, KU Leuven. Together with the dean, the other vice-deans and the administrative director we wrote the new policy plan ‘Samen Slim Schakelen’ / ‘Cleverly Connecting and Coordinating’.
